It needs to be refrigerated after opening, which makes it ideal for pouring just a bit into a glass in the evening. (Though maybe it would also be worth trying in coffee? or pouring over ice cream…)
It’s also good diluted with some cold milk (which is also how I like my Bailey’s) and I’ve decided it’s a relatively reasonable stop-gap for when I can’t get my hands on the world’s best: Organic Valley Eggnog
(Note: I think as a society, we might not be as appreciative of cream liqueurs as we should be. I remember being offered an after-dinner liqueur on a flight from Amsterdam ages ago and I picked “amarula” liqueur which ended up being something like a fruity baileys, and at the time I thought the idea of an after-dinner liqueur was a sign of some sort of advanced civilization. Maybe 2022 will be my year for further explorations. Seems like they end up being related to the few shots that you get at a bachelorette party that are actually delicious.)
