If you think you don’t like eggnog, maybe you just haven’t tried this one yet. I did a hardcore taste test over a decade ago and have yet to find a better alternative. It's so good, I never accept defeat if it's unavailable at my usual grocery stores.
This is worthy of a scavenger hunt (though I think you can pretty reliably find it at Whole Foods, so when/if it’s back in 2023 that’s where I’ll check first).

To turn it into a cocktail, just add brandy (or rum?) Update: it turns out that you can sort of create eggnog in reverse by adding milk to the delicious
I’ve seen people dust the top with nutmeg (freshly grated on a microplane if possible); just don’t overdo or it will be gritty.
