Learning to draw (again?)

This drawing book by Bert Dodson is incredible. It's maybe more about unlearning how to draw and learning how to see. It's also full of great exercises.

These aren't fancy, but it's all you need to get started (though all you really need is a paper and pen/pencil, I personally find that having specific supplies helps me keep up the habit):
