I didn’t originally include nonstick pans because I sort of assumed that everyone had some and that they were basically all the same.
After traveling for a few months and spending time in other people’s kitchens, I’m here to strongly recommend picking up one or two of the pans I use (I have both the 10” and 12” and they’re both <$30). They’re typically cheapest at Walmart, but also available on Amazon.)
Nothing special to say except that they heat evenly, the handles stay cool and are easy to grip, and I’ve never needed to do anything but wipe them out quickly with a paper towel. They are nonstick in an impressively space-age way that I had taken for granted. Taco meat, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, they flip and slide around smoothly while cooking and then just wipe right out (and at my house, go right back on the stove, ready for whatever’s next).
